Quickly test new features with EJBCA Docker container

An ephemeral instance of EJBCA can be helpful for testing and evaluating new features. The instance of EJBCA can be spun up quickly and easily, allowing you try out a particular feature. Then, when you're done, the instance can be destroyed along with any application data on it.

How to get started

The EJBCA Docker container is self-contained and includes everything needed to get up and running with EJBCA.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to start an ephemeral instance of EJBCA. We will show you how to:

  • Install Docker
  • Pull the EJBCA Community container
  • Start the EJBCA Community container
  • Access the EJBCA CA UI

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you need a fresh Ubuntu 22.04 LTS that has Snap installed and is ready to go.
